Clearview Window Cleaning services have ended the year on a high with being awarded our Safecontractor accreditation for the 6th year running. In order to achieve this accreditation, we have to undergo an annual audit on our Health and Safety and employment strategies. Clearview prides itself on being a responsible employer and is proud of its 100% accident/incident free safety record.
Clearview Window Cleaning Services would like to welcome the appointment of Colin Penney and Duncan Cork who have joined the team. Colin will be working part time, brings a lot of experience to the team in high access as he currently works for the London Fire Brigade and is fully trained in with the use of platforms, harness work and can bring a host of additional expertise to the team. Duncan, whos position in the company is for business development as also been trained in water-fed pole systems and is currently working alongside our teams to get first hand experience of our industry. Unlike our window cleaning rivals, Clearview do not sub contract out and are committed to employing only the best employees with the highest skills set, even if this comes at a price. We will not compromise on quality and continue to grow as the South Easts Leading window cleaning company. We wish Duncan and Colin every success.
Clearview are pleased to announce that two of our abseiling staff have both qualified for IRATA level two rope access technician status. Peter Foot and Richard Urdall were previously level 1 but have both completed a rigorous 7 day course and have achieved the required number of hours 'on the ropes' to now be qualified as level two. Both men will now be able to facilitate complex rope access tasks and can lead a team of level 1 abseilers. In total, Clearview employ 7 IRATA trained abseilers with only 3 being on level 1. Congratulations Richard and Peter.
Clearview Window Cleaning Services Limited have beaten the chill and started 2011 in style by purchasing a 1000 litre, hot water, Thermo pure, Water-fed pole cleaning system. This now brings our fleet of van mounted water-fed pole systems up to five with twelve fully trained operators. By purchasing this new Thermo-pure, pole system, we are able to beat the freeze as it produces 100% pure, hot water that cleans windows to an exceptional standard compared to the usual cold water systems. Clearviews plan over the next 12 months is to upgrade all remaining systems with hot water enabled products and to never be caught out in the freeze again. We are also pleased to welcome James Hewit and Peter Sales to our team who will be covering our South Midlands and Anglian division.
After an initial trial period with our London window cleaning teams, Clearview Window Cleaning are pleased to be the first company in the world to own and use the new Swift 80 Carbon fibre pole from the manufacturers of the Reach and Wash system. Reaching a maximum height of 27 meters from ground floor, the Swift 80 carbon fibre pole can reach 7-8 floors with ease with a single window cleaner using it during its operation. The Swift 80 Pole is due to be launched at the cleaning show in the Spring of 2011 and promises to transform the window cleaning sector as it eliminates the need for abseiling and using a cherry pickers for its height range. Not only will this be a safer alternative but will enable us to offer significant savings to our clients. Clearview are approved distributors for Ionic Systems and will be taking orders for the Swift 80 from January 2011.
