Our history
We have 30 years of high quality window cleaning experience
Clearview was established in 1989 by Keith Coburn (currently the Managing Director) in the East End of London. It started out as a very small domestic window cleaning round with many of the clients being small terraced houses. The work was carried out in the local area to his home on a Sunday morning, this was because at 15 years old Keith was attending school!
As the business started to expand Keith designed leaflets with the help of school resources, which he distributed in his spare time. Before long a Sunday morning window cleaning round became a full time job!
Keith decided to leave school and concentrate 100% on building up the business and it was not long before he started to employ staff and found himself in the position of being a teenage boss!
Because of his sheer determination and drive his reputation grew and by 1993 he started to break into the commercial sector resulting in cleaning commercial offices and working for property management companies.
The Journey
2000 Clearview invested heavily in obtaining the very latest in water purification pole cleaning systems (Reach and Wash). They were the first company in London to own this new concept in the window cleaning industry which was a very exciting period in the history of the company.
2002 Clearview were very proud to be recognised by the Health and Safety Executive and awarded with the prestigious 'SafeContractor' accreditation and the 'investors in People Award'
2006 Clearview became Clearview Window Cleaning Services Limited, with Keith Coburn (Founder) becoming the Managing Director.
2007 Clearview appointed an IRATA abseiling team and obtained an IPAF licence for full use of cherry pickers, lifts and booms. Clearview were and still are proud to offer every service relating to window cleaning and access.

2010 Clearview acquired and new purpose-built commercial office, workshop and storage facility near Brentwood and Romford. Due to the proximity of the M25 and good transport links, this became our head office.
2015 Clearview invested in gutter clearance systems, soft wash systems and offered additional maintenance services to our clients to compliment the window and façade cleaning services.
2021 our services continued to expand with new sectors using our services in the Healthcare and education sectors. We were now working with local authorities and health care trusts
With branches and divisions (teams) based in London, Kent, Hertfordshire and throughout the southeast the company continues to expand due largely to the high standards it sets. Clearview prides itself on offering a well respected, reliable and high quality service.
